Week Seven- Theresa

Low light:

Tony & I sat outside & enjoyed watching this spider 

make it's web on the corner of our porch.

Playtime:

Our new kitten loves to play.. here he is waiting to jump out of our newspaper basket at me!

Quiet time:

Adalyn taking her morning nap in her crib.

Mommy time:

I have been using my spare time this week trying to finish up our 2011 scrapbook.

Something green:

Tony's zucchini plant is starting to produce zucchinis!

The number 5:

My mom & I had fun shopping at the new Five Below store!

Week Seven - Aisha

Week Seven

This week was full of work and not so much play. My camera did not come out with me so much but I did have two photo sessions this week so I will share what I did photograph. They just happen to fit our list in some ways.

Low light

This is one of my favorites. I had a senior session with her horse this week. Yes, we did bring it out on the beach. (with permission from the police) Printed the sand is a little lighter so you can see the horses legs and the girls body a little easier.

Mommy time

To you this might not look like Mommy time. But to me, my photography is my Mommy time. My two-three hours out with a client is my time to unwind and do what I LOVE to do. It does not feel like work but a time where I can focus on what I do best. Posing my clients comes natural to me and when I go in with no direction and end with a product like this one here. Its the best feeling in the world!

Week Seven- Ashli

This week was much less busy than the last few have been so I had quite a bit more time to take pictures.  I find that this blog is really helping me to remember my camera and to grab it quick when something is going on.  I'm really starting to get into this photography thing.  :-) 

Circle: 

This one is pretty self explanatory.

Something Green: The boys and I have made a habit of going to the Battle Creek farmer's market on Wednesday mornings.  They get a honey straw and I pick out fruits and veggies for the week.  We love it.  See if you can guess which greens I have here.

Mommy Time:

I organized a moms night out with some of my friends here in B.C.  There were four of us who went to Applebee's for drinks and appetizers.  It was much needed and I think we will do it again soon.  My margarita was delicious!

Quiet Time:

Caleb asked to play outside for a while and Quinn didn't go with him.  I snapped this out the door without him knowing.  I thought it was cute with his half a cowboy costume on.  I don't think he was sad, just chilling out.  Love him!

Play Time:

The boys have a pair of my old glasses in their dress up bin.  I caught Quinn wearing them and acting silly. 

Low Light:

I don't know if this really qualifies for low light but I'm going to pretend it does. Our area is currently in a drought, so when it started to rain around sunset the other night I grabbed the camera to memorialize it!  It didn't last long though.  :-(  Still praying for more rain around here.

WEEK 8 - The List

By the time we post our pictures for this week, it will be just shy of three years since John Hughes passed away.  The name might sound familiar to most but with explaination, you will realize he was a big part of our childhood/teenage years.  He was a native Michigander and made some of the most iconic movies of the 80s including Ferris Bueller's Day off and National Lampoon's Vacation.  Here is the list of subjects for this week:
