Un(Tradition)al
My mother came to Michigan during the fall. This never happens. She was a bit upset that it sleeted a little while she was here and it was WAY too cold but she had a great time visiting the kids for Halloween and Tyler's birthday. Of course the kids loved having her here for the festivities too.
Strange
Our newest neighbor's version of lawn flamingos. (Sam found out he got them at Marshalls.)
Tricks
Taken November 3rd, this was my trip home from work. It obviously didn't stay (first snow never does) but it still seems too early.
Treats
The loot.
Child's Point of View
Alex decorating his cookie at Sam's 1st grade class Halloween Party.
Orange
I thought about putting up a picture of the pumpkins but then I remembered this. Chris made cheddar potato soup with ham and bacon. It was super yummy and it is definately soup weather.
Candy
Candy coated pretzels with almond sliver fingernail at the Early Learner's Halloween Lunch.
Scary
Alex's pumpkin this year had to have:
1. Pointy things (eyebrows)
2. Two teeth
3. Triangle eyes
4. Triangle noses
Costume
Sam decided to put on part of Tyler's costume (Nerdy Hawaiian) in combination with the face painting he got from the BRI's Harvest Party.
Black/Glow/Night
The beautiful full moon made such a cool glow on the clouds in the black night sky. This is a little grainy because I took it with my phone. It was super windy and hard to focus but I am happy with how it turned out (considering the circumstances.)
That soup picture makes me want some!
ReplyDeleteIt makes me sad it's all gone. ;)
DeleteYay for Mom making it here! The Candy shot, I have to be honest...thought it was a pregnancy test at first glance!! Anyways, glad you have everyone together, very nice!
ReplyDeleteHa-ha, Aisha, that would have been under the SCARY or TRICKS categories since NOT GOING TO HAPPEN isn't an option. :)
