Week 20 - Amy

Color

I cheated a little with this photo, I did not take it this week. I took it last Spring. I love the colors  in this photo (I did not adjust them at all). It reminds me of the exact colors a child would pick from the crayon box to draw the sky and the grass.

Wild

The wind was really whipping and the leaves were blown everywhere. I thought this car looked pretty wild with all the little bits of leaves that were stuck to it. I'm not sure how they got stuck on there like that. None of the other cars that I saw looked like that. It's hard to tell in this picture, but I thought it made the car look fuzzy.

Snack Time

We stopped at Up With Doughnuts on Saturday and enjoyed doughnuts and chocolate milk.

Animals

Rainbow trout at the fish hatchery.
Bees made a hive in a knot hole in one of the trees where I work. Most of them are gone now, but if you look close you can see the back ends of four bees in this picture.

Happy

Kieric is very happy to finally be learning an instrument. He is taking a cello class as well as a guitar class. I don't have any pictures of him with the guitar yet, though.

In The Car

In the bumper car. Cheated again! This is from our trip to Disneyland two years ago. Kieric had a blast. We are taking our kids to Disneyland one kid at a time. When they get to the age of six, they get to go.

Creepy

Someone burned down the play structure at Pioneer Park this week. It was a very sad day and many kids in town cried. The structure was really cool. It was like a castle or a fort. It was all wood (except the slides). I just don't understand what someone would get out of burning down a playground. The city has insurance on it and it will be rebuilt, but it will be a while before kids can play there again.

  1. Aisha, I think that I got the balancing elements concept in Snack Time and Happy. What do you think?

  2. I think you've got balancing elements In the donut pic, the cello pic and maybe the last one too, with the crime scene tape in the front. Great job! I love the fish too. They are beautiful.

Sorry, again for being so late on my comments. I have been absent from this page for a few weeks. Keep it up! I think you really doing a great job of training your photographic eye!
